May 1990 saw my first trip to Paris. We were staying in a gite in Brittany and for whatever reason, thought it would be a good idea to spend a day in Paris with a two-year-old, a six-month-old and a massive double buggy. We set off early, drove to Place d’Italie and walked from there all the way to the Champs Elysees (around 4 miles), admiring the architecture and it was quite a while before we realised the nappy-bag was in the back of the car.
A Sword-wielding Archer shares the movie theatre in my head with SAS Guys, Geeky Engineers and even a Hot Angel.
But every single female in there is whip-smart, fearless and more than able to hold her own in a man’s world.
Blimey, it gets busy.
You can guarantee they're surrounded by a supporting cast who never let them take themselves seriously, so there’s always adventure, fun and romance, whatever they get up to.
